‘Si las cosas cambian’ (‘If things change’), a timba influenced song written and arranged by Ella Trinidad’s musical director and piano player, Romy Hernandez.

The lyrics detail the dynamics of a friendship where one party develops romantic feelings for the other but chooses to let things develop organically, in case the other person doesn’t reciprocate their feelings.

‘Si las cosas cambian yo no me quejo, más con solo tu mirada ya yo tengo hasta mañana’
‘If things change, I won’t complain, but in the meantime seeing you today will do me until tomorrow’.
